What Is VDR / SVDR Annual Performance Test?
The Annual Performance Test (APT) is a mandatory inspection to verify that the
Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) or Simplified VDR (SVDR) is functioning correctly and
recording all required data.
The test is conducted in accordance with:
- IMO MSC.333(90)
- SOLAS Chapter V Regulation 20
- Flag State & Class requirements
